Mission:
The Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry takes the gospel of Jesus Christ into the darkest of places in the Texas prison system through our bachelor degree program which educates men and women with long-term prison sentences. Graduates of the Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry are allowed to serve their peers as Field Ministers throughout the Texas prison system.
Degree granting authority:
The Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board granted the Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry degree-granting authority for the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Ministry at two locations:
- Memorial Unit, 59 Darrington Road, Rosharon, Texas
- Hobby Unit, 742 FM 712, Marlin, Texas
Accreditation status:
The Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry is an applicant for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the baccalaureate degree.
