Since 2011, the Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry has spearheaded the vision for Field Ministers in Texas. It is a privilege, as the college, to provide the education of men and women with long prison sentences toward the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Ministry.
Men and women serving extremely long sentences apply, are accepted, and study for four years to become a Field Minister upon their graduation from the Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry (the men’s instructional campus is at the Memorial Unit and and the women’s instructional campus is at the Hobby Unit.
The Heart of Texas Foundation College of Ministry offers men and women the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Ministry earned by men and women through more than four years of rigorous academic study and daily application of that study with their heart at the Memorial Prison Unit in Rosharon, Texas and at the Hobby Prison Unit in Marlin, Texas.
